Since the last time I have posted, things have been super busy but great! After taking several semesters off, I restarted college this past fall to work toward my degree in nursing. While I am of course nervous about nursing school, I am very excited to see what opportunities it will bring.
I have also restarted my health/fitness journey two months ago after giving up on it last year. The truth is, I wasn't staying consistent with my diet at all, and when I wasn't seeing results I basically said to myself, why bother? I fell back into old patterns and I was definitely not happy with myself in many ways.
At the beginning of April, I finally decided I had enough. I had to make a change. I am the kind of person that likes to track their intake, so I searched the app store for a new tracking app. I found MyNetDiary and it really helps me stay on track with my macros and water intake. The free version has so many great features that a lot of other trackers don't have, and I really love the barcode scanner. The app is easy to use and has a customizable dashboard. (not sponsored, I just love the app)
Since I have started 8 weeks ago, I have lost 10lbs with a change in diet alone. I feel so much better; both physically and mentally. I know I have a long way to go to reach my goal, but I'm not giving up this time.
The main purpose of writing this post, is a reminder to do the hard things. It's easy to give up when things get seemingly too difficult. Trust me, I know! But, just keep your head up and focus on your goals. Whatever journey you are on, you got this!
